How We Got Going--A Success Story
Hello, I'm Ms. Curry,
owner and manager of Curry's Creative Classics!
My company was only a dream until the year of 1999 when as a mom of five I became determined to earn a few extra bucks to supplement the tight budget of a growing family.
Although I had a respectable full time job, it simply wasn't enough to keep our heads above the tide of mounting bills that seemed to frequently materialize. There were also the inevitable battles with my boss whenever I was required to leave work to rush to the aid of a sick or injured child, medical appointments, teacher's conferences etc. If I myself got sick for more than a few days, the resulting loss of pay made quite an impact to our family finances.
I took a chance on an idea that I had for printing greeting cards, personal stationary, business cards and invitations and selling them as packaged sets, I was pleased with the resulting order requests for my efforts.
I believed that gift items would go well with my greeting cards and began my quest for unique items of quality that were still affordable. I set up shop right in my cubicle after buying a few items I could display as samples for prospective customers. It went extremely well, so well in fact that I found it too distracting to have buyers engulfing my workspace to see what my new display consisted of.
I decided to invest in brochures that I could pass around instead. That was another wonderful idea, my new method of presentation floored 'em! Shoppers had the convenience of taking their time to shop at their own leisure.
Before I knew it these brochures were being requested by the families, friends and neighbors of my original customers! I decided to start the Creative Classics Club to show appreciation to my most dedicated shoppers by offering them specials and promotions for members only. I also obtained my business license for my steadily growing business!
Curry's Creative Classics started from the determination of one woman
from her own home. Since that time, Creative Classics has been enriched by the additional Sales Force of nationwide

My family and I warmly thank each of you for your patronage, contribution and support.
